AI Transformation for Business Leaders

Someone will ask where AI belongs, and you want to answer without bluffing. That moment matters. This course helps you walk in with a plan, rules people can live with, and a clear place to stop. You leave able to decide, and calm enough to defend it.

  • November 16 — November 19

Benefits

  • A playbook you can take into Monday's meeting.
  • Words that Legal, IT, and Finance will recognise.
  • A stop-or-go point so a pilot does not drift.
  • No coding. The work is the decision. You leave with the playbook.

A vendor demo is not a decision. Your name will be on the decision. This course is for directors, founders, and people leading a change. You do not need to code. You do need a call that other people will have to live with. You practice explaining AI and agents in words a sponsor can repeat without you in the room. You turn a vague hope into a short list worth funding. You write 90 days with a real point to stop or go on. You set rules Legal, IT, and Security can accept. The work is your organisation, not a slide from a software company. You leave with a playbook for Monday's meeting, and a plan for getting people to actually use what you buy. Four live days. Dates and the fee are on this page.

Curriculum

Every chapter is listed here. You enrol in the whole course, not one chapter.

  1. Module 1

    The landscape in business language

Generative AI, agents, and the platforms a sponsor actually hears about. Separate a real capability from a vendor demo.

    • What you can say in one minuteGenerative AI drafts. An agent takes a next step. A platform is where the vendor wants you to live. You leave able to say which is which.
    • A demo is not a capabilityWhat to ask before a logo gets a budget: the job, the data, the human checkpoint, and what happens when it is wrong.
  2. Module 2

    Use cases worth funding

From a vague pain to a ranked list: impact, feasibility, and risk.

    • From a complaint to a candidateA workshop that turns "we should use AI" into a named job, a user, and a result.
    • Impact, feasibility, riskA short list. Everything else waits. Risk includes the customer, the staff, and the regulator.
  3. Module 3

The case and the 90-day map

A return a finance partner can read, and gates from trial to pilot to production.

    • A number finance can readCost, time returned, and what you are not counting. No inflated year-five slide.
    • Trial, pilot, productionEach gate has an owner and a reason to stop.
  4. Module 4

Governance a partner team can live with

Privacy, audit, and a human checkpoint where the risk sits.

    • Where the risk actually sitsPrivacy, audit, and the decision a model must not make alone.
    • A page Legal and Security can mark upOne control list. Not a policy no one opens.
  5. Module 5

    Build, buy, or partner

A repeatable way to choose. Not a tour of logos.

    • The three choicesBuild when the job is yours. Buy when the job is common. Partner when you need a capability you will not staff.
    • Questions that survive a sales callData leaving the building, exit, and who is accountable when the output is wrong.
  6. Module 6

    Adoption, not another login

Training, champions, and what to do when people go back to the old way.

    • Access is not useWho must change a habit, and what they get on the first day that is better than the old way.
    • Champions and the quiet refusalA named network, and what you do when usage drops after week three.
  7. Module 7

Running the work and reporting up

Several workstreams. One status a director can use.

    • One status, several workstreamsBusiness and technical work on the same page. No theatre.
    • Numbers a director will ask forUse, quality, risk, and the decision you need this week.
  8. Module 8

    Why these projects stall

The leadership failures, including the pilot that never becomes the job.

    • The pilot that never becomes the jobEarly signs: no owner, no data, a demo standing in for a workflow.
    • Leadership failures, namedFunding without a gate. A tool chosen before the job. Adoption left to an email.
  9. Module 9

    Your playbook

Roadmap, governance, adoption, and the numbers — presented as if the sponsor were in the room.

    • Roadmap, governance, adoption, numbersOne pack for the use case you brought.
    • Say it to the roomA short presentation, as if the sponsor were there. The certificate follows the pack, not a quiz.

FAQ’s

Who is this course for?
Leaders who will be asked where AI belongs, and who do not want to bluff. You leave with a plan, rules people can live with, and a number.
Do I need to build a model?
No. You need to decide what to fund, what to refuse, and who still makes the decision.
Is this the PMI-CPMAI exam course?
No. This course is the leadership plan. PMI-CPMAI Exam Prep is the exam. The exam fee is not included in either.
What do I leave with?
A roadmap, a governance note, and a way to report the work up. Recordings and a certificate of completion are included.
Do you guarantee a job after a cohort?
No. We publish dates, prices, refund terms and consented stories. Placement and income claims are not part of this academy.
What time zone are live sessions in?
Source zone is America/Toronto unless a cohort says otherwise. Session times always name that zone. Convert in your own calendar from the ICS on the cohort card.
Can I join a waitlist if a cohort is full?
Yes. Waitlist captures name, email and optional phone. It does not take payment. Seats that free up are offered in join order.
How does early-bird pricing work?
If a cohort has an early-bird price and the cut-off has not passed (server date at payment), checkout charges the early-bird amount. The cart may still show list price until quote.
What is the refund window?
Full refund before the published cut-off relative to the cohort start; after that the published bands on the Refund page apply. Checkout requires you to accept that policy.
