AI in Product Management

A roadmap written by a model is still your roadmap. Thirty live hours take you from the problem to a tested idea, with AI in the work and a person still owning the decision. You leave with two projects, not a pile of prompts.

    Two projects

This is for product managers, aspiring product managers, founders, designers, and analysts who will be asked what to build next. The class runs on three weekends. You use the tools. You do not hand them the product. Weekend one is product thinking and strategy: who the user is, where the product sits, and how a model can help you see options without choosing them. Weekend two is discovery and the roadmap: research, Lean UX, a lean build, and an agile backlog a team can start. Weekend three is proof: North Star and AARRR, A/B tests, and the two projects you will finish in the month after class. The tools in the room include ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, an image tool, and Jira. You bring your own accounts. We do not sell seats in those products. You receive a certificate of completion after the thirty hours and after the two projects are reviewed. It is our certificate. It is not issued by an outside institute. Dates and the fee are on this page.

Outcomes

What you will be able to do when the course ends. This is not the list of things you take home. That list is Benefits, at the top of the page.

  1. 1You can say what the product is for, and who it is not for.
  2. 2You can use a model to widen the options, then choose one yourself.
  3. 3You can turn research into a roadmap a team can start.
  4. 4You can name the number that would tell you the idea failed.
  5. 5You leave with two projects a reviewer can mark.
  6. 6You know the certificate is ours, and the tool accounts are yours.

Curriculum

Every chapter is listed here. You enrol in the whole course, not one chapter.

  1. Module 1

    Product thinking

What a product manager decides, and where a model may help.

    • What the role actually decides
    • A mindset before a tool
    • Where a model helps you think, and where it must not
  2. Module 2

    Strategy and position

Who it is for, and why this product rather than the next one.

    • The strategy in one page
    • Position: who it is for, and who it is not
    • A framework for the solution
    • Using a model to see options, not to pick one
  3. Module 3

    Discovery

Research, Lean UX, and a problem written in the user's words.

    • Users and the market, without smoothing the conflict
    • Personas, empathy, and the job to be done
    • Lean UX: a hypothesis you can test
    • Research help from a model, checked against real words
  4. Module 4

    The roadmap and the build

A lean plan, an agile backlog, and a team that can start.

    • A lean environment, and what you will not build yet
    • A roadmap a team can finish
    • Agile delivery and the backlog
    • Jira as the list, not as the strategy
  5. Module 5

    Proof

The numbers that matter, a test, and what you will not ship.

    • A North Star and the AARRR numbers
    • How you will know the idea is wrong
    • An A/B test you can actually run
    • What the three weekends add up to
  6. Module 6

    Two projects

Apply the tools to a real decision, then submit the work for review.

    • Choose the product decision
    • Project one: the problem, the user, and the bet
    • Project two: the test and the measure
    • What the review will look for

FAQ’s

Who is this course for?
Product managers, founders, designers, and analysts who will decide what gets built, and who want AI in the work without handing it the decision.
How is this different from Generative AI for Product Owners?
That course is the brief for one AI feature. This course is thirty hours across thinking, strategy, discovery, the roadmap, and a test.
Are ChatGPT, Claude, and Jira included?
No. You bring the accounts. The fee is the live hours, the recordings, the two reviewed projects, and our certificate.
What certificate do I get?
A certificate of completion from Next Gen Skills Builders, after the hours and the two projects. It is not issued by an outside institute.
Do you guarantee a job after a cohort?
No. We publish dates, prices, refund terms and consented stories. Placement and income claims are not part of this academy.
What time zone are live sessions in?
Source zone is America/Toronto unless a cohort says otherwise. Session times always name that zone. Convert in your own calendar from the ICS on the cohort card.
Can I join a waitlist if a cohort is full?
Yes. Waitlist captures name, email and optional phone. It does not take payment. Seats that free up are offered in join order.
How does early-bird pricing work?
If a cohort has an early-bird price and the cut-off has not passed (server date at payment), checkout charges the early-bird amount. The cart may still show list price until quote.
What is the refund window?
Full refund before the published cut-off relative to the cohort start; after that the published bands on the Refund page apply. Checkout requires you to accept that policy.
